the cabernet sauvignon...

It is considered by many to be the king of red varieties. It is grown in almost every known wine-producing region in the world and in various climates, from cold to very hot.
It is the result of a cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, retaining the aromatic characteristics of both varieties. Its homeland is Bordeaux, France but it has an international career producing excellent wines both within and outside of France.
Medium to deep purple color tending towards ruby, balanced acidity, rich body. Juicy and ripe black fruit with a strong chocolate character, notes of caramel and tobacco.
